Meet your career and life coach
Harriette Luscombe
MA (Oxon)
MSc applied positive psychology and coaching psychology
EMCC global practitioner coach
Sharing the tools to help people make positive changes to their life and work is my passion. I know from first hand experience how hard change can be, particularly given the abundance of responsibilities that we all have. I call on my experience of successfully climbing the corporate ladder for 15 years in marketing, working across national and international clients, as well as being a yoga teacher, to influence my coaching style. I firmly believe that you hold the key to your own success and using tools and techniques underpinned by the science of positive psychology, my aim is to provide a bias free space for you to explore what you need and want, to help you be the positive change maker of your life.
Coaching Options
Harriette has a real knack at absorbing my tangents and helping me make sense of them. I love how unfased she seems to be about my lack of clear goal - which really takes the pressure off and helps me work out what I want as I go along.
Harriette really helped me to collect my thoughts together on my possible new role and understand my reservations so that I could make an informed decision to move ahead with it!
My coach gave me the space to speak aloud and work through things, enabling me to see new aspects of what I was trying to do. She challenged my assumptions and made sure my thoughts were facts wonderfully well. Very impressed and just as importantly, feeling much better equipped for the challenges ahead of me. Thank you Harriette
Being coached can be an intimidating experience as you have to be quite honest and often that makes you feel vulnerable. Harriette was able to take a lot of the emotion out of situations I was describing. Her demeanour and guidance made me feel quite empowered.

Sessions with Harriette are a valuable space to give yourself the time and headspace to examine what matters to you and perhaps what assumptions you have taken on board unconsciously. Going through this process has really helped me open up to different ideas of what success might look like for me and what I would like my future to be.

It's so great to speak to someone neutral to give you clarity on some decisions.

FAQs
Is coaching the same as therapy and counselling?
Put very simply, therapy helps you deal with deep rooted issues from your past. Counselling helps you address issues in the present, and coaching is about looking forward and proactively putting in place changes. This doesn't mean that coaching can't compliment work you might be doing in therapy or counselling but we recommend consulting with your therapist before starting coaching.
I'm keen, what happens next?
Fantastic, we can't wait to meet you! Register for your free consultation below and we can have a chat about your requirements. We will discuss how the coaching sessions work and then we both sign a contract outlining what we've agreed. Everything we discuss throughout our coaching sessions will be 100% confidential, and we will schedule in your sessions in a way that suits you. We advise that sessions are no shorter than 30mins and no longer than 90mins. You choose the time and frequency to suit you, weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Talk to me about the cost...
Deciding to invest in yourself is the first step towards creating changes that will benefit you and those around you. To put the spend into context according to KPMG (2021) the average Brit spends £641 per year on takeaways, £319 on takeaway coffee and if you get the car washed every week it could be setting you back over £1,000. Alternatively, coaching is an investment that can have life changing impacts. Get in contact to find out about our cost effective solutions for you.
